Charity Navigator, America's premiere independent charity evaluator, works to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the financial health of America's largest charities. They use two factors to compile their ratings: industry standards and actual performance. By utilizing their ratings, givers can truly know how a charity's financial health compares with that of its peers and of charities throughout the country. Charity Navigator evaluates 3,000 of America’s charities each year.

On June 28, 2004, Charity Navigator, notified Global Partners that Global Partners had received a 4-star rating for the second consecutive year. In their letter, Charity Navigator states that they consider this consistency “an exceptional feat, especially given the economic challenges… in the last year.”
