The women of Bam Got, Tanzania have a problem. The water they drink is hopelessly polluted and has to be processed before it is safe to drink. Nobody wants to have to boil polluted water to drink all the time, so we propose a new clean water well for the Bam Got Women’s Group. This well will provide clean water and safeguard their families’ health by reducing water-borne disease.
The total cost of drilling the well, providing a water pump and plumbing the entire project is $6,450.
