Global Partners’ experience in Africa is that the problems are so great, that billions of dollars will not solve them, but, paradoxically, hundreds of dollars can make a big difference. Global Partners’ role in its work with the African people is discovering where a moderate donation can produce a huge improvement in quality of life for the future. As a result of the generosity of our donors, our past and present partners in Africa have the cows, chickens, pigs, goats and camels that they need to ensure their ability to feed their families and educate their children; the clean water they need for health and well being; and the clinics and medical supplies they need to maintain their health. All the education projects have taken a great leap forward with the addition of science labs, dormitories, new books, and scholarships for needy girls. The benefits from these donations will connect into many other aspects of the lives of our Africa partners and make those lives better in ways that will continue into the future.
