The riders will soon be gathering for a group start at the fifth annual Tour de H2O (May 31, 2014) in Columbus, Ohio, and the excitement is building! GPFD Board of Directors member Steven Hurt and his wife Keely Croxton are once again raising funds to support the construction of water supply projects at primary schools in a dry, rural area of Western Kenya. It’s time to pump up those tires, fill up your water bottle, strap on the helmet and pedal for water!
In addition to our scenic 10, 25 and 50 mile cycling routes, we will have a 5 mile walk so help us get your non-cycling friends involved! They can walk while you ride and you all can enjoy the tasty catered African lunch together at the finish line!
Through Global Partners, funds raised will have a tangible and direct impact on the lives of those living in extreme poverty. For more info and to register online, please visit www.tourdeh2o.org. Come join us and help make the world a better place for those living in extreme poverty! Won’t be in Columbus, Ohio on May 31? No problem! Register as a virtual rider!! Together, we can make a difference!
